We woke up around 7 a.m. on Sunday morning at Pizza’s home. We got ready to go to the Samphran Zoo around 8 a.m. My parents went to pick up my sister Nat and her husband Paul at Bang Bua Thong and I went with Pizza to pick P’Curb up at his hotel. Last night I gave P’Curb my mobile phone so we can contact him (lucky that I already deleted all xxx messages in my phone, lol). Pizza phoned to P’Curb when we were at the petrol station and told him we will arrive at the hotel in 10 minutes. After we picked up P’Curb then we went to join my parents somewhere on the road and followed them to pick up Nat and Paul.

After my parents picked up Nat and Paul then we followed dad’s car to a petrol station to buy some snacks. Nat walked to us to ask if we want something to eat. She told me there is a kind of fried chicken, but it’s not KFC. She asked “do I want it?” Then I said “yes” immediately lol, because we didn’t have breakfast yet. When Nat came back and she handed the food to us, P’Curb was excited when he saw the bag of fried chicken… its A&W.

Pizza said she will feed me. She pulled out a piece of chicken from the bag and started eating it, lol. She said she has to check it first to see if the chicken is poisoned. She worried that I’ll be in danger so she took the risk for me because she loves me so much!! (Ai Za you were very lucky that my feet can’t move lol). While Pizza was enjoying with the chicken and forgot the whole world around her, my mom called to me and she asked why we didn’t follow dad’s car! Pizza was like she just woke up from a dream. She was looking around shocked when she didn’t see my dad’s car. She put the chicken down and she hurried driving off to follow my dad, hahaha.

P’Curb then said to Pizza “Don’t worry about feeding Wheelie, I’ll feed her.” Then he pulled out a piece of chicken from the bag, and he tear off the chicken skin (the best part of chicken) and started blowing some air on it to make it cool. I was waiting for P’Curb to feed me and when the chicken ready to eat, he put it in his mouth *Crying*. P’Curb said “We don’t have A&W restaurants back in my area in America. They used to have a lot of A&W restaurants but their business was going down. Now they don’t have as many A&W restaurants as they used to have…” and blah blah blah. What’s in my thought at that time was ‘will I ever have my chicken today?’ It seemed like P’Curb could read my mind, he started feeding me after that *Sigh*.

P’Curb is a friendly and talkative guy; he was excited for the first time seeing the traffic in Thailand through Pizza’s car. Let’s just say every sign, traffic lights, buildings etc seemed interesting for him. He was talking a lot; he said can’t believe he is in Thailand now and that he has met his 2 favorite girls. Sometimes he turned to me and caressed my hair and he said to me “I told you I’ll come to meet you and here I am. Our dreams finally came true ka.” Then I smiled back at him as sweet as I could and asked “When will you dance in red undie for me ka?” lol. He laughed at my question and told me he is wearing red underwear today but in the car there is no room for him to dance.

Oh, and I have to explain why we were saying ka ka ka all the time. Ka in Thai is particle used by women at the end of sentences to make them polite. And Krup is the same meaning as Ka but used by men. You may think P’Curb is gay or what? Why he says Ka? He said he use Ka because it’s easier to type than Krup, lol he is lazy. I told him some of Thai guys used Ka too when they talking to little girls or to some girls who are younger than them. It gives softer sounds to the girls.

We arrived at the Zoo around noon, and my family went to have a lunch near where we parked the cars except me and P’Curb. I told P’Curb to go to join them and don’t worry about me. I’m used to waiting in the car, but he said "I came half way around the world to see you, I am not leaving you in the car alone" he didn't want to leave me alone in the car. Now that he is here I don’t have to be alone anymore. Then Pizza came back to us to asked if we wanted some food, I said no because I just had chicken same as P’Curb, he said no for the food too. He said he didn’t feel hungry but I asked him to try it. The food was my mom’s cooking from Pizza’s home this morning. I wanted to know if he can eat spicy Thai food. So he agreed to try for a little, I swear it wasn’t a small dish that Pizza brought for him lol but he could eat all which means he has no problem with my mom’s cooking and spicy food, Ye!Ye!

While P’Curb was eating… my nephew Yim got into the car on the driver seat and turned his face to look at P’Curb who was in the back seat. Yim looked at P’Curb with interested and then put his finger on P’Curb’s neck as if he was checking if P’Curb is real, lol. It wasn’t the first time Yim had met a farang, he has met some of my farang friends before and Paul, Nat’s husband has spent time with my family many days. But he seemed took a lot interested toward P’Curb. My guess was because P’Curb is the biggest farang he have ever met and P’Curb was even whiter than me. It’s not easy to find someone who is whiter than me even if that person is a farang.

After they finished having lunch, then it was time to enter the Zoo. Before we went into the Zoo, Pizza taught P’Curb to tell the ticket seller at the ticket booth that “Pom pen khon Thai” which means “I’m Thai” so they won’t charge him foreigner’s price, lol. The ticket cost is 80 baht for a Thai but it goes up to 500 baht for a farang! That is about 6 times higher! I don’t understand what was the right of them to do that. Maybe because farang have 12 eyes. That’s why they have to pay 6 times higher so they could see things more than us??? But one thing I know it’s the right thing for sure is they didn’t charge me lol. I know the reason for that. It’s because for people who are in a wheelchair, we can't see as much as normal people do. Like this time at the Samphran Zoo I couldn’t see the crocodile’s show because they made the crocodile pit bar too high. The higher place that they set for people to see the crocodile show; they have to go up the stairs with no ramp.

While P’Curb was pushing my wheelchair inside the zoo I told him “They charged you for 500 baht but it was free for me” he said “They charged me high so you can get in for free” I laughed then I thought what will they charge for a farang in a wheelchair?

The first thing we went to see was P’Curb’s cousin (Monkeys). There were 5 or 6 of them in the cages. We were taking some photos and then headed to see the show that going to start soon. The first show was magic show, the show had nothing special but it was funny from the magician’s undisturbed face even when he made a mistake his face still looked the same, lol. The second show was elephants show; there were many shows of elephants and one of them was the history war between Myanmar and Thailand show. It had the recording sound to explain about the battle in English language too but no one could understand that even an English speaker like P’Curb *Sigh*. But the show that got the most cheering was Elephant’s dance show. People was laughing and cheering especially to cute little elephants. But later I’ve known that someone in our group wasn't happy with the elephant shows. Nat told me Paul is a member of Greenpeace group or something like that and to force elephants to do that is cruel to animals.

The last show we went to see was Crocodile’s show. I couldn’t see the show as I already told from above but everyone said it was scary. All I could see was the guys who control crocodiles climbed up to get some tips from people *Crying*.

When we were passing the food shop I saw they have some meat balls and hotdogs selling there so I asked Nat to get me a hotdog. Then we went to the sit under the tree so Nat can feed me there. Paul asked Nat what was the hotdog made from? Nat told him it was made from pork and mixed with a lot of powder to make it cheap. That made Paul and P’Curb confused. Why would they put powder in food? Then Nat tried to find another word but she couldn’t remember it and she turned to me for a help. I then made it worse by say “flavour?” I knew it was the wrong word immediately from the look on their faces, lol. Nat became closer to the word “flouwer?” we were struggling on the word for awhile then we decided to give up and go home, hahaha. Just now I looked up in a dictionary and the correct word is “flour” *Tired*.

It was around 3 p.m. and it was time for us to go home. We said bye to Pizza and P’Curb and I will meet them again when Pizza brings P’Curb to my home on next Thursday. In the car my mom asked why P’Curb was taking care of me so nice. Then Nat replied because P’Curb is my friend so I didn’t have to say anything, lol. Normally mom and Pizza are the ones who take care of me when we go out together. This time they let P’Curb take care of me alone. He was pushing my chair and fanning me, and kept pouring some water in a little towel for me to wipe my face to make it cool.
